Flying Tiger Cafe & P-40 Courtyard

From $200

Host your birthday party in our beautiful outdoor courtyard, featuring a Curtiss P-40 Warhawk as your backdrop, as well as inside our cafe where you can admire the mural of the infamous Flying Tiger P-40 Tomahawk Fighter. This is a great party location for large groups!

 

We provide:

  • Admission to museum and ship for up to 25 people
  • Two (2) hour rental of space
  • Seating for up to 70 people
  • Self-guided touring of Veterans Museum
  • Guided tour of ship (USS KIDD DD-661) can be added for $7 per person cost (minimum of 20 people)

 

You provide:

  • Appropriate Decorations and Party Favors
  • Food and Drink
  • Additional guests over 25 are $10.00/person (unless a guided tour is included)

Parties can be booked during normal business hours excluding US and military holidays, and promotional days. A deposit of $50.00 is required in order for a date to be booked. These deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Parties are held rain or shine.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: Are the birthday child and family included in the count?

    A: Yes, there is a party fee for each person attending the party. Packages
    include 25 people total, and every additional guest is $10.00 unless you wish to purchase a Ship guided tour at $7 per person with a minimum of 20. Parties over 35 require a second tour or tour guide.

  • Q: Can we stay longer than the (2) hour rental period?

    A: Yes, you and your guests (up to 25 total) have access to the ship and museum between check-in and end of day at 4:00pm. The rental space, however, is only available
    for the (2) hour rental period.

  • Q: What happens if it's raining?

    A: Parties are held rain or shine. If you have reserved the P-40
    courtyard, we will move your party to the cafe area. The shipboard guided tour may be cancelled in the event of lightning or severe slipping hazards.

  • Q: Do you provide plates? Napkins? Utensils? Invitations? Etc.?

    A: No. We want to give our guests the opportunity to make their party unique.
    We simply provide a unique setting at a customer friendly rate.

  • Q: What food and drinks are allowed?

    A: Cake, ice cream, cupcakes, soft drinks, and juices are allowed in the party
    area. No alcholic beverages are allowed anywhere on the premises. No food
    or drinks are allowed on the ship.

  • Q: Can I bring party favors and decorations?

    A: Yes. Party favors are allowed, though we ask that you let us know ahead of
    time what is being brought. Silly string and bubble solutions are prohibited.

  • Q: If my birthday party falls on a Free First Sunday, is everything free?

    A: Sorry, no. Free First Sundays are for general admission only; not birthday
    party packages.
