A memorial observance will take place at 11:00 a.m. Keynote speaker will be Brigadier General Sherian Cadoria, USA (Ret.), who has announced that this will be her last public speaking engagement. General Cadoria served as a director for the Joint Chiefs of Staff and is the first female inductee of the Louisiana Veterans Hall of Honor.

Pack a picnic lunch and bring your lawn chairs or purchase from onsite vendors selling hamburgers, funnel cakes, and more (Please no BBQ Pits, Tents, or Pets). Big River Express will perform Swamp Pop, Rhythm & Blues, and Soul music favoriates following the ceremony from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Come down to the Riverfront and show your appreciation for our Vietnam and Vietnam-era veterans!  Help us spread the word in welcoming them home.
